In 2002 they toured in support of their third album, Burn the Priest. In 2005 they launched a new tour in North America, with Lamb of God supporting Slayer and Slipknot.[97] In the summer of 2005 the band embarked on a 25 date tour in Europe supporting Slayer, Slipknot, Exodus, and Anthrax. In 2012 they launched a new tour in North America. The tour started on May 10, 2012 in Portland, Oregon, and ended on November 14, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario. It featured the band supporting three bands at each show - Anthrax, Lamb of God, and Trivium.
The band has toured internationally with Metallica and Slayer. In the summer of 2000 they played in the summer of 2000 in the United States. They have also played shows in Europe, Australia, North America and South America, including a three-week, 25 date US tour in support of Lamb of God's second album, Ashes of the Wake.[96]
On July 17, 2015, the band performed on the SXSW Music Festival, their first U.S. appearance since the Burn the Priest tour in 2013. Between July 17 and July 27, the band performed 17 shows in the U.S. headlining on The Scion A/V Bar on July 26 in Los Angeles, and on the Ozzfest stage on July 27 in New York City. The band also performed on the main stage at both Rock in Rio and Rock im Park on July 27, 2015. On July 28, the band performed on the Kiss 108 concert in Germany. On July 29, the band's performance on the Reading and Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom was released as a live album, titled Lamb of God Live.
