I've had this happen with a friend, and for us it was an icon that was just missing. Once you open the Setting Manager and click on the Rebuild Icon Cache button, Icon Packager will update and fix all the missing icons. No errors. The icon will still not show in your desktop when you leave Icon Packager. If you close the app, the changes will still appear on the next start.
My every Icon Packager 5 icon is crisp and vibrant. I would like to suggest adding the ability to specifically target individual folders. I have so many non-empty folders that are clean and bright now that I cannot identify which folder are loaded with icons.
The program runs fine. The issue is after I edit the icons and exit. I am unable to find the new icons anywhere or in the desktop, either. It shows that the icon changes were "saved", but where exactly are those icons?
It worked fine for me too when I used earlier versions of Icon Packager but I tried 5.0 and didn't work. There is no option to repair the icons and I don't know why this is happening. I hope you resolve it soon.
After I launched Icon Packager, it said another instance already run (which I closed), and I still couldn't install icon packs. After I installed the icon pack and re-launched IconPackager, it did not install any icons on the desktop.
