The only real issue players may have is how the game's difficulty scales. Yoshi's Crafted World starts you out playing on Easy mode, and more difficult levels are offered as you continue through the game. This isn't the only difficulty option, though, as you can play an unaltered version of the game that goes from Easy to Hard mode. So, if you're a little tired of dying and want to test your mettle, you can go full Mario on Yoshi's Crafted World.
The same can be said for both the music and the way the game is presented. Yoshi's Crafted World, as with all of the Yoshi games, has an adorable, charming, and bubbly aesthetic. From the opening cinema where you get to see the yoshis grow up through the course of the game, you get to see a bunch of cute cuteness. The music is just as charming, and some of the songs are just beautiful. Yoshi's Crafted World is also very well made, with everything on screen interacting with you. Even the way you control the game is perfect, as any flaw is completely negligible. The only problem with the presentation is that the camera can become a bit of a jerk at times.
The second problem that Yoshi's Crafted World has is that the game feels a little too short. It's a little difficult to tell how much time it should take to complete the game in one sitting. It's a fairly long game, but it doesn't feel like it takes a whole lot of time to get through.
In the hub worlds, the levels are randomized every time you play the game. You can only go to the next level once you complete it, but your levels will never repeat. The game features several different themes, including Yoshi's Island, and the 3 worlds in Super Mario World. The games have different objectives, but the most common theme is you're trying to find a special egg. When you find the egg and get it to the Yoshi, he makes a yolk out of the egg. Then, Yoshi eats the yolk.
The game is split up into two modes. In the story mode, you have to go through all the levels in a set order. The game will always have the Yoshi who is chasing Luigi, and the next level is always set after the first world. The levels also fit into the story, but there are some areas that take place out of order. The in-game world moves in a loop so you won't get stuck in the same level forever. The game also has hub worlds, which are connected to each other in a chain. If you're not much for reading, going through the whole thing in order is a good way to get your game done. The levels are each 3 hours long. The story mode also has a nice assortment of mini-bosses and final bosses.
