Hi. I recently installed nvidia drivers (nvidia-304-updates.noarch) on my RHEL 7.5 box. Had been using an AMD driver which was working fine. While rebooting the system, it displayed the following error message: “encountered a situation where we could not determine the validity of the hardware …”, followed by the message “…system will be halted”. I went back to the AMD driver (fglrx-updates.noarch) and everything is working fine (apart from the fact that the graphical interface doesn’t work well with it). Could someone help me to make the nvidia-304-updates.noarch working? I’m really eager to enable Nvidia GPU, but it doesn’t seem to work :-(. Thanks a lot in advance!
