Attain's library has two student workers. Each year, we offer various programs to encourage you to use the library, such as a highly successful summer reading program and a teen staff to student staff youth job training program run by IUP's Community Development Office.
Located inside McNeil Student Center is IIA's Family Learning Center. This space is a place for students and their families to come together to learn, explore, meet and share. The Family Learning Center is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and is a place to promote family literacy, increase academic success and support healthy children and families. Feel free to stop by!
Join us for the 25th annual family literacy festival, held on the south lawn of the IUP main campus. Held graciously by the Northampton Community College Library staff, this free admission fun event is held on the first Saturday of July every year. The Family Literacy Festival helps to promote family literacy through publishing and distribution of 32,000 New Titles titles for kids. Enjoy performances by local children on the arts stage, face painting, games, exhibits and demonstrations from local artists.
