Hi Gareth,Have been using Money for the last 6 years or so. Never seen any problem like this before, perhaps it's something to do with getting it in the right format for 2005 Money. I downloaded version 2005 saucy salamander, setup and tried opening my saved money file which dated from way back in 2002 and 2003... all I got was a spinning beach ball. I went back to 2003 and 2005 and got the same. I then went back to 2002 and 2003 version and it chucked up, so wonder if the later versions have a problem with earlier files. I'm assuming money2002.sud is the version I want.
It was a mammoth task to download with the many clicks, clik, clak, wait etc. but I finally got it! That's my friend..I have found this version in the EU search, thanks for making these available..I have not tried opening it yet, but will let you know. You were right, I couldn't find any earlier version in the search. Their my post was for a version less or equally than 2005, but thank again for your time and best of luck, Bob.
Thanks Gareth!I've been looking for a Money 2007 v12.0 for ages, but couldn't find one. I searched around for it and found the trial version for Money 2k8. (I have Money 2k8 installed on my system, so can't be sure whether the version I've downloaded is the same version as in the trial 2k8).I got Money 2k8 to open my money file (version 12.0), so hopefully, Money 2007 will work like that. But I've got a different problem: I can only use Money 2k8 for my Money file. When I try opening a Money 2k8 file, which was saved in version 12.0, I get the error message:"Cannot open the file. The solution is availble from Microsoft. There is a market and other bugs in MS Money 4.0 (which is bug fix 3 I believe). d2c66b5586
