“The torrent file distributed to the user contains all the data needed to download the file. If the user’s IP address changes, the data from the torrent file is redistributed and then combined with the data from the original torrent file.”
How can I do it? Do I need to download a torrent with a torrent client on a computer where I want to download the file and then use that torrent as proxy to download the file on the other computer? How would work this?
I have a server that will be used for everything (music, movies, books, tv, etc) and I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good hosting company for that. I was also wondering how the actual torrent file should be formatted. I have a lot of movies and tv shows and i don't want to have them all on one server. There are many movies and tv shows that I have a copy of but if I make a torrent file will the file just download the movies or will it also download any metadata that might be on it. I also don't want to have to turn off any of my own servers or servers I use to download torrents from. I just want to be able to access all my files from anywhere.
Torrents are available in English and over 10 other languages. For those who want to view an image of the collection before they start downloading, the archive.org search page can be searched to find torrents within the collection.
How it Works:
The items you want are uploaded to the Internet Archive directly.
You download the torrent files and seed them using the torrent client of your choice.
Each item you want is a separate torrent.
Uploaded items are here .
With nearly 10,000 torrents available on IA, we often hear requests for special needs groups and others to be included. So, for the last year, the Internet Archive has been working with local librarians, doctors, schools, and others to make our collections available for the specific needs of special groups of people. In addition to this collection of daily torrents, we also have a special collection with over 30,000 professionally created torrents of the internet’s most popular websites, services, and other applications to help people with disabilities find content of interest. This continues to grow and expand. 827ec27edc
